About our counselling services

At Lifelink Workwell, we recognise that every workplace is different, and so are the mental health needs of employees. While many EAPs (Employee Assistance Programs) provide brief, standardised counselling, our services offer a more personalised and adaptable approach—ensuring employees receive meaningful, lasting support.

Our counselling service upholds care and professionalism, in line with Ethical Frameworks. Our counsellors hold appropriate qualifications and are registered with professional bodies such as BACP, NCPS, or BABCP.

How our counselling services differ from EAPs

EAPs typically offer limited, short-term support with a set number of sessions. While these services can be useful for immediate issues, they often do not provide the depth of care needed for employees managing ongoing or complex challenges. At Lifelink Workwell, we take a different approach:

  • No session limits – Counselling sessions are guided by individual needs, ensuring employees receive the right level of support from our therapists.
  • Flexible counselling options – We offer both short-term counselling (offering up to 8 sessions initially) and longer-term counselling for ongoing support around more complex issues.
  • Flexible operating hours – Sessions are available from 8 AM to 8 PM, integrating seamlessly into the working day, supporting shift patterns, while maintaining work-life balance.

Counselling designed for workplace needs

We work closely with businesses to design counselling solutions aligned with your objectives, ensuring that employee wellbeing becomes a core part of company culture. Our experienced, qualified therapists provide a confidential space for employees to address a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, workplace challenges, and personal struggles.

Time-limited counselling

A structured, goal-oriented counselling approach offering up to 8 sessions initially, with the flexibility to extend if and when that is required and appropriate. These sessions are ideal for employees navigating challenges that may be affecting their wellbeing at work — whether related to workplace stress, anxiety, or personal circumstances such as health concerns, bereavement, or caregiving responsibilities.

Longer-term counselling

For employees facing more complex issues, longer-term counselling provides an opportunity to explore a range of underlying concerns, allowing for sustained progress and personal growth.
